Monroe County School District Deputy Superintendent Amber Acevedo has been selected to serve on the Board of the Florida Support Administrators Association (FSAA), one of the five core departments within the Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA).
In this leadership role, Acevedo joins school and district leaders from across Florida in supporting administrators who oversee critical operational areas including human resources, finance, transportation, food services, and public information.
Recently, she participated in a FASA Strategic Planning Session, where board members and education leaders collaborated on the key issues facing public education and discussed how FASA can continue to provide high-quality professional development and advocacy for school leaders throughout the state.
Now in her 43rd year in education and a long-time FASA member, Acevedo values the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of educational leadership while representing Monroe County School District at the state level.
