Sugarloaf School’s Principal Trevor Tyler and School Resource Officer Deputy Tim Tedesco saved three people and a dog from a nearby house fire. After spotting smoke and calling 911, they rushed in—Tyler evacuating two young people and a dog, and Tedesco rescuing an adult as smoke thickened. Both were honored with a District GEM Award (Great Educational Moments).
