MCSD highlighted Suicide Prevention Month throughout September, but the work will not end here.💜🩵

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Daliana Goins, District Threat Management and Harm Prevention/Mental Health Coordinator, who was invited to serve as a guest speaker at the Department of Children and Families’ recent Florida Suicide Prevention Coordinating Council meeting in Tallahassee.

Daliana had the opportunity to spotlight MCSD’s incredible work happening in our schools throughout the Florida Keys and alongside our valued community partners, working together to build a culture where connection, compassion, and asking for help matters.

This opportunity was also a wonderful reflection of our continued commitment to being Florida’s first Suicide Prevention Certified School District, a distinction we carry with great pride and an even greater sense of responsibility.

Monroe County School District is proud to lead, proud to partner, and proud to continue doing the work that can save lives. Together, our schools and communities are creating a safer, more connected Florida Keys. 💜🩵
