Students from Tavernier to Key West recently experienced an unforgettable journey through music, history, and imagination during our Symphony in the Schools tour.
Through live orchestral performances featuring Copland, Mozart, Beethoven, Holst, and more, students discovered the story of America not just as something found in a textbook, but as a living narrative still unfolding today.
The program closed with a powerful reminder:
History is always unfolding — and every act of kindness, courage, fairness, and compassion helps shape what comes next.
A heartfelt thank you to the incredible South Florida Symphony team for bringing “250 Years — The Declaration of Independence” to life for more than 1,000 of our students. Your organization, energy, and passion made this experience truly memorable.
We are also grateful to our Transportation Department and bus drivers for ensuring all students traveled safely.
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many of our students.
