The MCSD delegation of Superintendent Edward Tierney, Board Members Yvette Talbott and Dr. Woltanski, and Deputy Superintendent Amber Acevedo had a productive visit in Tallahassee during Florida Keys Days, meeting with several key legislators to share and promote the School Board’s Legislative Agenda. Our team is grateful for the time spent in thoughtful conversation, the willingness to listen, and the opportunity to advocate for critical priorities—including funding for the Bruce Hall project and other important proposed bills. Proud to represent Monroe County and keep our students’ needs at the forefront.
