Students in Jennifer Rodriguez' fourth grade class at HOB School were invited to attend a ceremony to celebrate the end of the Wounded Warrior Project's Soldier Ride on January 10th. The invitation came after the class raised $600 in the Wounded Warrior Project's "Honor Their Courage" Education program. As part of the program, students learn about WWP and about the veterans who benefit from it.
At the ceremony they were recognized for their efforts; they received a wall plaque to hang in their classroom and met with some of the soldiers who participated in the ride. Great job, class! We are all proud of your efforts!
