Several proud members of the Monroe County School District were honored to attend the opening ceremony of the Lofts at Bahama Village. Board members Mindy Conn, Sue Woltanski and Yvette Talbott along with Superintendent Ed Tierney, Deputy Superintendent Amber Acevedo and Executive Director Pat Lefere were in attendance for the ceremony that included thank you’s to those that made it possible along with information about the historical aspects of the housing complex that reflects Bahama Village history. This milestone represents a tremendous collaborative effort, with multiple agencies and companies working together to expand affordable housing opportunities for local residents.
It’s more than just buildings—it’s about creating stability, dignity, and a stronger future for families in our community.
