On day 3 of Start with Hello Week, students at Gerald Adams Elementary school wore the color green to symbolize the promise to spread kindness. Students promised to be kind to others, to say hello with a smile, and to send positive messages—even to those they haven't met yet.
They were encouraged to show they care by giving a wave, a hug, a handshake, a high five, or simply a warm smile. They learned to share a kind note or a friendly gesture to spread kindness and make everyone feel welcome!
Together, we can all make kindness our everyday promise!
