Upper Keys Schools - including the Coral Shores High School students and staff in the photo - gave a warm, heartfelt send-off to Florida Keys Veterans heading on their Honor Flight. Cheers and gratitude filled the air as these heroes embarked on a special journey to visit the memorials in Washington D.C. honoring their service.
The trip was sponsored by Honor Flight South Florida, an all-volunteer organization that puts together special trips for veterans to honor their service.
