Leadership retreat classroom with crowd

Superintendent Ed Tierney welcomed the District Leadership Team to the annual district retreat that formally starts the back to school activities for the leadership group. Over 50 of the districts’ leaders were fortunate to gather in the new Emergency Operations Center in Marathon to celebrate the District’s A grade and plan for the upcoming school year.

“Rigor is the new norm” will become a familiar term for teachers, students and parents. This embodies the goal to teach to the highest standards and support students and teacher teachers to reach success. The day held an opportunity for team members to get to know each other, discuss their roles within the district, and assess the progress that has been made in the Strategic Plan.

Superintendent Tierney and the team look forward to leading the district to increasing performances in safety, academics, student supports for overall well-being and access to wider opportunities. The partnership with families and the community is integral and we will continuously share information on our avenues of text/call messages, Facebook, Instagram and on our website.
