Exciting news for Stanley Switlik Elementary! Deputy William “Bill” Daniels will soon join the team as our new School Resource Officer (SRO). His official start date will be announced shortly.
In the meantime, Sergeant Eric Mixon will continue providing SRO coverage to ensure a smooth transition and continued support for our students and staff.
Deputy Daniels brings 17 years of experience with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, where he began as a road patrol Deputy in the Marathon area. Known for his professionalism and approachable nature, he’s built strong community ties over the years.
He also has a personal connection to Stanley Switlik—his daughter is a student here, and he proudly calls Marathon home. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the Switlik family!
