The Monroe County School District proudly celebrates its continued partnership with John Padgett and the Golden Fleece Foundation (GFF), whose investment in student success has driven remarkable growth in IT certification and career readiness. In the 2024–2025 school year, student participation in IT programs surged from 550 to 896, and the number of ITPP certifications jumped from 1,320 to 2,015. Total certifications rose to 2,194—reflecting a district-wide commitment to preparing students for high demand careers.

GFF’s generous contribution of $265,350 in incentive funding this year has empowered students to earn industry-recognized credentials while still in high school, giving them a competitive edge in postgraduation pathways. This partnership is more than impactful—it’s transformational. Together, we are equipping students with real-world skills, boosting confidence, and expanding access to future-ready opportunities.

Monroe County School District is deeply grateful for the Golden Fleece Foundation’s unwavering support and shared vision for student achievement and workforce development.
