Students across Florida will take the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) in May. FAST is a statewide progress‑monitoring assessment that helps teachers and families understand how students are growing in reading and math throughout the year. It’s designed to be quick, adaptive, and aligned to what students are learning every day.
As we head into the final testing window, we encourage students to approach FAST with confidence and a positive mindset. This is their chance to show what they know, how much they’ve grown, and all the hard work they’ve put in. Families play an important role too — your encouragement and support make a real difference.
