7th grade Reef

Our seventh grade students engage in an incredible hands-on learning experience at REEF’s Education Center, where they step into the role of marine scientists. During this immersive visit, students dissect lionfish while learning about invasive species and the significant impact they have on coral reef ecosystems.

Through this real-world investigation, students deepen their understanding of marine ecology, environmental responsibility, and the importance of protecting our oceans. The experience encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and scientific inquiry in an exciting and meaningful way.

We are so proud of our seventh graders for their curiosity, teamwork, and willingness to embrace hands-on learning opportunities. πŸ πŸ’™
