2nd graders

This week, Mrs. Pamโ€™s second grade class brought reading to life with an engaging and hands-on literacy activity. After reading โ€œCan You Sew a Flag, Betsy Ross?โ€ students paired up and hit the โ€œparking lotโ€ โ€” not the kind with cars, but one filled with ideas!

Working together, partners explored the story by identifying characters, setting, problem, solution, and other key elements. The room buzzed with excitement as students shared their thoughts, made connections, and supported one another in breaking down the text.

Activities like this help students build strong comprehension skills while also giving them the chance to collaborate, think critically, and have fun learning. We are so proud of their teamwork and their growing confidence as readers. Keep shining, second graders! ๐Ÿ“š
