Pre-K in Band Room

Last week, Mrs. Isabel's Pre-K class took a special trip to the Band room as part of their ongoing Music Study. Students have been exploring:

  • The different families of instruments

  • What music notes look like

  • How we make different sounds on different instruments

  • What it means to be an audience

  • What a concert is

To bring this learning to life, Ms. Bazin invited the class to the Band room, where her band students performed a mini concert. Afterwards, everyone had the chance to make music together and try out instruments.

The children had an absolute blast exploring instruments, listening to live music, and experiencing what it feels like to be real musicians. It was a wonderful, hands-on learning experience that they wonโ€™t soon forget!
