Citizen Input

  • The School Board of Monroe County is seeking community-wide input concerning the leadership qualities desired in our next Superintendent. Your input is essential in helping us select the leader who will guide our district towards continued success. We will be asking citizens to participate in this process in several different ways, including:

    • A Public Survey. The Superintendent Search Public Survey is being conducted through the end of February by the Florida School Boards Association with direct input from the Monroe County School Board. All information provided by the survey will be reported to the Board, and will be used to design the application process and prepare interview questions for candidates. The results of the survey will be provided on this page, allowing you to stay informed and involved in the Superintendent search process. Please participate in the survey posted below, or by scanning the QR Code on the right side of this page.
    • Public meetings will be held throughout the Florida Keys both before the search begins and as the search narrows down potential candidates. See the dates for the upcoming meetings on the right side of this page.
