In celebration of America's 250th anniversary, PKS brought this year's Celebrate Literacy theme to life in a meaningful way. Our students used their reading and writing skills to create heartfelt letters to active - duty service members.
This past week, we were honored to welcome back PKS alumni Noah and Andrew Hane, now serving as U.S. Marines, as they picked up these letters to share with fellow service members. What a powerful full-circle moment - former PKS students returning to connect with the next generation.
We are so proud of our students for using their voices to make a difference- and we are grateful to Noah and Andrew for their service and for representing the strength and pride of the PKS community.
