Plantation Key School

PKS's Concert Band earned an Excellent rating at Concert MPA last week. In the unique setting of the keys, where private lessons are scarce, Kat Yarborough's students have shown immense dedication. Despite not having access to private instructors, these students go above and beyond! They have practiced after school, joined extra rehearsals, honor bands, and community bands. All this work in the hopes of becoming better musicians. Perhaps most impressive is that half of this group are first- year players. Their growth since August is phenomenal. They now get to look forward to a well deserved field trip to Universal next week.
