What an amazing Career Day at PKS! The day kicked off in an unforgettable way as a Florida Keys Mosquito Control helicopter landed on our field, giving students an up close look at aviation and public service in action. From there, our kindergarten through eighth grade students rotated through a wide variety of career presentations. Experiences like this help connect learning to the real world in meaningful ways.
A very special thank you to our school counselor, Krista Hillman, and her team for organizing such a well planned and engaging day for the students. We are also very grateful for the many local businesses and community members who took time out of their day to share their careers and inspire our Panthers.
