Monroe County Special Olympics athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the 2025 South Region Fall Classic, at Nova Southeastern University on Oct. 5, 2025, bringing home numerous medals across power-lifting and pickleball events. Additionally, Monroe County Special Olympics wrapped up an exciting season of competition with outstanding performances in Bowling, Stand-Up Paddleboarding, and Swimming.
Athletes of all ages demonstrated skill, sportsmanship, and the spirit of inclusion as they represented schools and community programs from Key West to Key Largo, showcasing determination, strength, and sportsmanship at local, regional, and state-level events.
