Start with Hello Week: A Small Hello Can Make a Big Difference!
Poinciana Elementary School is excited to celebrate Start with Hello Week, September 21–25! This special week encourages our students and staff to create a kinder, more inclusive school community by making connections, including others, showing respect, and being a friend.
Throughout the week, students will participate in fun spirit days that promote kindness, inclusion, teamwork, unity, and celebrating what makes each of us unique.
💚 Start with Hello Spirit Days
Monday, September 21 – Neon Day: Wear neon colors to shine a light on inclusion!
Tuesday, September 22 – Teamwork Day: Wear your team jersey or sports gear to celebrate teamwork!
Wednesday, September 23 – School Colors Day: Wear our school colors, green and orange, to show unity and solidarity!
Thursday, September 24 – Mismatched Socks Day: Wear mismatched socks to celebrate how we are all unique!
Friday, September 25 – Pajama Day: Wear your pajamas and step out of your comfort zone!
Start with Hello reminds us that a small hello can make a big difference. A simple greeting can help someone feel seen, welcomed, and included. We encourage every member of our school community to make a promise to say “HELLO!” and help make Poinciana Elementary a place where everyone feels that they belong.
Connect. Include. Respect. Be a Friend.
💚 A kinder, more inclusive school starts with you! 💚
