Definitely a Math in Motion at Poinciana! This week our 5th graders turned our front driveway into a high speed learning zone as part of our Pelicans & Police Program with KWPD.
They were running, biking, skating and scootering the length of the front drive as Key West Police Department used their speed detectors. We collected the data and will be using the data as we learn about average, mode, range and median. Graphs will be constructed as well.
