Key West High School

Key West High School junior Allens Alexandre was honored by Superintendent Ed Tierney and Board Chair John Dick as a GEMS recipient for his outstanding accomplishments in wrestling and his unwavering dedication to excellence. Allens completed an extraordinary season with a 37–7 record, earning the silver medal at the State Wrestling Tournament. His commitment and discipline propelled him to become a District Champion, Regional Runner‑Up, and ultimately a State Runner‑Up, marking him as the 14th state finalist in Key West High School history and only the third underclassman to reach the state finals. With a clear goal of capturing the state title next season, Allens exemplifies what it means to be Growing, Excelling, Motivated, and Successful—a true model of Conch Pride.
