Congratulations to KWHS Band Director Gary Hernandez, who was honored today at the Key West City Commission meeting.
Superintendent Ed Tierney and School Board Members Darren Horan and Yvette Talbott were present for the proclamation recognizing the outstanding leadership and dedication Gary brings to the Key West High School music program.
Under his direction, the KWHS Band has earned superior ratings, received international invitations including New Year’s Day parades in Rome and Italy, and delivered countless performances that enrich our schools and community.
We are proud to celebrate his talent, commitment, and the lasting impact he makes on our students.
