KWHS Cheerleaders are recognized

The Key West High School Cheerleaders were proudly recognized for their exceptional achievement as Regional Champions, earning their place at the State Championship with a stunning, high‑energy routine that showcased their elite skills in stunting, dance, and cheer. Their powerful performance led them to an impressive 6th‑place finish in the state, a testament to their athleticism, precision, and relentless commitment to excellence.

Superintendent Ed Tierney and Board Chair John Dick presented the squad with GEMS at Tuesday’s Board meeting.

As year‑round athletes, these cheerleaders train rigorously, continually elevating their technique and teamwork to compete at the highest levels. Beyond competition, they embody true Conch Pride—performing throughout the community, hosting camps for young aspiring cheerleaders, and giving back through service. Their spirit, leadership, and dedication make them outstanding ambassadors for Key West High School and an inspiration to students across Monroe County.
