As our Superintendent shared in the Welcome Back Letter, parents play a critical role in their child's education. One of the most important ways families can support student success is by ensuring regular attendance and punctuality.
Every school day provides valuable learning opportunities, classroom discussions, and connections that cannot be fully replaced when a student is absent. Being present and on time helps students build strong academic habits, stay engaged, and achieve their fullest potential.
Let's work together to make attendance a priority and set our students up for success—every day counts!

Now is the perfect time to schedule your child's:
✅ Annual Physical
✅ Sports Physical
✅ Wellness Visit
✅ Dental Checkup
Monroe County School District encourages families to take advantage of the services available through Keys Kids Health Centers to help students start the year healthy and ready to learn.

Summer Reminder for Families!
We know summer has just begun and we hope you’re enjoying every minute! But as we all know, summer has a way of flying by, and before you know it, the new school year will be here.
This is a great time to take care of those important dentist and doctor appointments while schedules are more flexible. If appointments need to happen during the school year, be sure to use our school calendar to help plan visits on days off whenever possible.
Thank you for your continued support of our students—especially when it comes to attendance. You did an amazing job this past year making sure your children were present and ready to learn, and we truly appreciate your partnership!
