Our 1st–3rd grade Buccaneers had the BEST time yesterday with a special visit from children’s author Selina Alko! She shared the inspiration behind her new book, Otherwise Known as Judy the Great—a sweet and heartfelt tribute to our very own beloved local author, Judy Blume.
Students loved hearing about how stories are created, where ideas come from, and what it’s like to be a real author. Who knows… we might have some future writers right here at HOB!
