Last week our elementary music classes wrapped up Black History Month with a special culmination led by Mr. Hendricks — featuring our amazing 5th graders!
Throughout the month, students explored the powerful impact of Black artists, musicians, and composers who have shaped music history and culture. From meaningful discussions to engaging performances, our students learned how music tells stories, builds community, and inspires change.
We are so proud of our 5th graders for the energy and heart they brought to this celebration!
A big thank you to Mr. Hendricks for creating such a meaningful and memorable experience for our students. If you’d like to learn more about what they studied and performed, he’d be happy to share the details!
