With deep admiration and gratitude, Board Chair Mindy Conn and Superintendent Ed Tierney recognized Marie Brevil for her exceptional dedication to our school community at a recent Board Meeting. Marie consistently goes above and beyond, serving as a vital bridge between home and school. Her translation support during parent meetings, IEPs, and student conferences ensures clear, compassionate communication for our families.
Behind the scenes, Marie facilitates over 500 free and reduced lunch applications, helping students access essential resources without delay. She’s a steady, caring presence in our students’ lives—always ready to listen, offer support, and ensure they get home safely when transportation challenges arise.
Marie’s impact extends beyond the school day. She attends every after-school event, assists with the Open Arms EL Student Groups, and actively participates in SAC meetings. Her translation work ensures inclusivity and accessibility across our communications.
Marie Brevil exemplifies teamwork, compassion, and service. We are truly grateful for all she does to uplift our students, families, and staff, and are proud to present her with this GEMS for the great educational moments she provides. On hand to help her celebrate was principal Melissa Alsobrooks and her family.
