Middle School 7th grade students will be participating in the SOS Signs of Suicide program with parent permission.   There is a live link in the letter that will take the parents to the information if they want to explore it. (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IZQesVmFnY_p7H1IRFrQwHIs93I2aHJ1UBw_x_kiw9Y/edit?usp=sharing) There are also assessments that parents can take if they are concerned about their students.  All parents can have access to the information if they wish to view it but only 7th graders will be getting the presentations with the School Counselor. Paper letters and resources are going home to all 7th-grade students on January 11th and Mrs. Sabbag will also send out a Dojo message since Ms. Klessens will be doing the presentations in her 7th-grade classes.

  • Ocean Guardian School Image

Sugarloaf School has been officially recognized by NOAA’s (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Office of National Marine Sanctuaries and the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation as “NOAA Ocean Guardian School Year 2.” SLS is one of only three schools in Florida and one of only thirty schools nationwide to achieve this designation for the 2020-2021 school year!

Mrs. Harris and her fellow ocean guardians have contributed positively to our local community by protecting the health of our marine life.
