Josiah Ellison Receives GEM Award
Josiah Ellison is a very promising 5th grade beginning band student who has only been playing trumpet for four months! In that time, his skills and talent have shown themselves to be at a very high level. Josiah plays trumpet as he waits for the bus and has garnered the attention of quite a few people all around the town. Just before the winter break, he began to play holiday music and his classmates, parents and passersby truly enjoyed his initiative. For his acts of kindness and creating great educational moments for others, the MCSD Board was proud to award Josiah with a GEMS.
