Patriot Day at Sugarloaf School

Today, our Sugarloaf Sharks took time to reflect on and honor the memory of September 11, 2001.

Our teachers brought history to life through meaningful, age-appropriate lessons:

• 4th Grade: Students explored original newspapers and artifacts, engaging in a heartfelt discussion about unity and resilience.

• 8th Grade ELA: Mrs. Moore’s students analyzed President George W. Bush’s 9/11 Address to the Nation, studying rhetorical devices and historic speeches.

We are proud of our students for showing such deep respect and empathy today. We will never forget. ❤️🤍💙
