Coach Jerry Harbin was recognized as a GEMS honoree for his outstanding dedication and seven years of volunteer service to the Sugarloaf Lady Sharks Volleyball program. His commitment, passion, and leadership have built a strong foundation for the team and shaped countless young athletes on and off the court. He has not only coached the players but has also mentored Coach Meier, passing on his knowledge and love for the game.
Through his time, energy, and genuine care, Coach Jerry has created a positive environment where athletes learn volleyball skills along with teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and confidence. His steady presence and belief in every player have made a lasting impact on the Lady Sharks community. This season, the team finished with only one loss and captured the Conch Cup—an achievement that reflects his influence. The Shark Family considers him one of their own and we are proud to award him this GEMS for creating great educational moments for our student athletes.
