Marathon Middle High School has once again earned Gold Model School recognition for its Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program for the 2025–2026 school year.
MMHS is one of just four schools in Monroe County to receive the highest level of PBIS recognition and the only high school in the district to earn Gold status.
The recognition reflects Marathon’s continued commitment to creating a positive, supportive school culture where students can thrive. Through the use of data, ongoing reflection and teamwork among students, staff and administrators, MMHS works to teach and reinforce positive behavioral expectations while building an environment that supports both academic and personal success.
PBIS at Marathon goes beyond recognizing positive behavior. The program focuses on creating clear expectations, strengthening relationships and ensuring students feel supported and connected to their school community.
Earning Gold Model School status recognizes the collective efforts of the entire Dolphin family and MMHS’s commitment to continually improving the school experience for its students.
Congratulations to our students and staff — and Go Fins!
