Deputy Superintendent Amber Acevedo and Marathon High School Principal Christine Paul recently visited schools in Palm Beach County to see the AICE Cambridge academic program in action.
AICE (Advanced International Certificate of Education), developed by Cambridge University, is a rigorous, internationally recognized program that allows high school students to take college-level courses and earn college credit while developing critical thinking, research, and academic skills that prepare them for success after graduation.
A big thank you to Spanish River High School, Principal Dr. Allison Castellano, her team, and the student ambassadors for giving us an inside view of AICE classes and sharing firsthand the positive experiences students are having in the program.
We also appreciate Santaluces Community High School, where Principal Dr. Tameka Robinson and her team shared valuable information about the program, curriculum, and testing—and provided the opportunity to visit AICE Cambridge classrooms and speak directly with students.
We’re excited about implementing the AICE program this August at Marathon High School and Key West High School, expanding advanced academic opportunities for our students.
