Nineteen talented student musicians from Marathon Middle High School proudly represented their school at the annual County Honor Band on January 30–31, 2026.
Under the direction of band director Paul Anderson, students joined fellow top musicians from across the county for an intensive day and a half of rehearsals before delivering an outstanding concert performance in front of a packed auditorium at Marathon High School. The culminating performance showcased the students’ dedication, musicianship, and commitment to excellence.

Participation in the County Honor Band is a significant achievement, reflecting both individual talent and the strength of the Marathon band program.
