Marathon, FL – October 30, 2025 — The gym at Marathon High School was buzzing with excitement today as more than 30 college and career representatives met with students during the school’s annual College Fair. From universities and technical colleges to military branches and local employers, the event offered students a glimpse into the many paths available after graduation.
Students collected brochures, swag, and plenty of inspiration as they explored tables and chatted with recruiters. For many, it was a first step toward mapping out their futures — and the enthusiasm was clear.
“This event gives our students the chance to see just how many opportunities are out there,” said Sean McDonald, Marathon High School’s CCAPS counselor. “Whether they’re thinking about a four-year degree, a trade certification, or going straight into the workforce, the fair helps them make connections and start planning for what comes next.”
