Marathon, FL — October 23, 2025 — Marathon High School is proud to announce that two of its outstanding seniors have been selected as the school’s nominees for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, one of the nation’s most prestigious honors recognizing high school seniors for exceptional academic and career achievements.
Tinashay Cunningham has been selected as Marathon High School’s nominee for General Academic Achievement. Tinashay is known for her intelligence, dedication, and strong leadership both in and out of the classroom. She embodies the academic excellence and personal integrity that define the Dolphin spirit.
Emerson Fleming has been chosen as the school’s nominee in the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Achievement category. Emerson has demonstrated exceptional skill, creativity, and commitment in his technical studies, earning professional certifications in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Fusion 360, and WordPress Editor. His accomplishments reflect a deep understanding of both design and technology, showcasing the strength of Marathon High School’s CTE programs.
