Today’s ceremonial groundbreaking at Founders Park marked the official start of the new CSHS baseball field — a unique partnership between the Village of Islamorada, MCSD, Coral Shores High School, and Keystar Construction.

Principal Laura Lietaert and members of the CSHS staff were on hand, joined by Superintendent Ed Tierney, Board Chair John Dick, and Board Members Yvette Talbott, Mindy Conn, Sue Woltanski, and Darren Horan as the groups celebrated this long‑awaited collaboration. Engraved shovels, hard hats, flying dirt, and plenty of smiles captured the moment.

This success belongs to our students and the community that stood behind them.
