CTE Students learn how to work on outboard engines

Our Outboard Marine Service Level-1 students are diving deep into hands-on learning with their latest lower unit service lab! Today, they're mastering essential skills like replacing water pumps and gear lube, conducting crucial pressure and vacuum tests on seals, and accurately checking gear ratios. This practical experience ensures they're fully prepared for real-world marine service challenges.

Pictured here are students Cayden W. and Tyler C. pressure testing a lower unit. The bubbles from soapy water indicate a pressure leak during testing. Thank you to Mr. Collins for sharing the amazing experiences our students gain every day in our CTE programs!
