Friday was busy. Superintendent Tierney and School Board Member Dr. Sue Woltanski were invited speakers at Leadership Monroe County Class XXXIII Education session.
Together with this year’s class, we toured the Career and Technical programs at Coral Shores High School, enjoyed an amazing plated lunch created by CSHS Culinary students and got to do one of my favorite things - talk about education.
I hope everyone left with a better understanding of some challenges facing public education and, perhaps more importantly, some of the great things happening in the School District despite those challenges.
