  • Principal Denise Santiago

    Mrs. Santiago has been employed with the Monroe County School District for 30 years. She has a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her two children who are both students of the University of Florida.

     Assistant Principal Scott Meier

    Mr. Scott Meier started with Monroe County School District October of 2016.  Prior to joining MCSD he was employed by the School District of Philadelphia for 24 years as a teacher and Assistant Principal.   He holds a B.S. in Education (Temple University) and an M.S. Ed. In Educational Leadership (University of Pennsylvania) and holds certifications in teaching (K-12) and Administration (Elementary Principal). He enjoys all outdoor activities and spending time with his family. 

     

     

  • Assistant Principal Nicole Smith

    Mrs. Smith has worked at Horace O'Bryant School since 2013.  She was named  Monroe County District Teacher of the Year in 2016.  Mrs. Smith was a Special Education teacher in New York and Virginia for 13 years before coming to HOB.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Edinboro University of PA, a Masters Degree in Special Education from Old Dominion University and a 2nd Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida.  Mrs. Smith and her husband enjoy spending time traveling and being on the water with their 2 daughters.

  • Assistant Principal Steven Vinson

    Mr. Steve Vinson has been employed with the Monroe County School District for 21 years.  He has a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography/Urban Planning from the University of South Florida.
