Clubs and Organizations
-
Student organizations at Coral Shores come in two very general forms: academic organizations and service organizations.
Academic teams and organizations have their membership based partly on strengths of students in particular courses. They often compete in district and regional competitions within their field. Students with a special interest in a subject should contact the sponsor of that organization for information on the criteria for membership.
Service organizations are student volunteer organizations that serve a vital role in the "school community". They organize and conduct community service projects, as well as projects on campus. Some service clubs are sponsored by larger national organizations, such as Rotary International (Interact) or Kiwanis International (Key Club). Others have a more local focus. Students interested in joining a service club should contact the club sponsor for more information.
