Michael Michaud - Focus

I am Mike Michaud.  I am a proud product of the Monroe County School District attending Gerald Adams, HOB, and Key West High School.   I started working with the Monroe County School District in 1996 as an Algebra 1 teacher at Key West High School.  In 2003 I was hired as an Assistant Principal at Key West High School.  I relocated to Marion County and served as the Assistant Principal of Instruction from 2005-2010 at West Port High School in Ocala.  In 2011 I was transferred to Liberty Middle School as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum.  I returned to Monroe County in 2012 and resumed the role of Assistant Principal at Key West High School.  In 2014 I was hired as the school district’s Safety and Security Coordinator.   I played a role in the school district’s transition from TERMS/AS400 to Focus School Sofware as the student information system.  I was hired as the Student Information Services Coordinator in the spring of 2017.  In this position, I oversee any data that is entered into the student information system as well as the data that comes out of the system for state reporting.
