MCSD's Director of Safety and Security, Alfredo Vazquez, and District Threat Management & Mental Health Coordinator, Daliana Goins, recently attended the 2024 Florida School Safety Summit to receive training and up-to-date requirements and best practices in the areas of comprehensive school safety and harm prevention.

Through Superintendent Axford’s continued full commitment, MCSD remains vigilant with relevant recommendations and experiences through the collaborative work with our Florida school district partners as well as our community partners in our continued efforts to protect our students, staff, and school communities.
