Key West Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Teachers for Outstanding Instruction

group picThe Key West Chamber of Commerce Education program recognized 11 teachers at a recent luncheon for their outstanding contributions to their students and schools.  The KWCC gathers a bag full of goodies from member businesses including gifts and gift certificates as a show of appreciation.  The teachers recognized were thrilled to hear their principal’s positive words read by Education Chair Suzanne Moore and to be guests at the luncheon.  At the luncheon, they also gave $250 to Key West High School Alyssa Cerkleski’s classroom as part of their continuing support of education in Monroe County School District.  We thank the KWCC for holding educators in high esteem and supporting them throughout the year.
