Congratulations to 

Mrs. Isabel Campanioni, who was named as Head Start/VPK Teacher of the Year! Her story is a true testament to hard work paying off! She began in Head Start as a parent of a Head Start student. Then she decided to be a Site Coordinator/Family Advocate at Key Largo School. Her passion for the program, the students, and families grew. Dedicated to complete her associate’s degree, she went on to study for her Bachelor’s degree using the T.E.A.C.H. scholarship from the state of Florida, awarded from the Children’s Forum.

She went on to use a T.E.A.C.H. grant scholarship to complete her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She is now a part of the aspiring leaders program within the district. She is truly an example of our Grow Our Own Program!

Mrs. Campanioni did all this, while working full-time and managing her lovely family. We are honored to have someone so dedicated, caring, and intelligent in our profession! We salute all of our Head Start and VPK Teachers who show compassion and dedication to educating our youngest students!  Mrs. Jennifer Walker was on hand to congratulate Mrs. Campanioni on her honor.
