Students in the Key West High School Digital Information Technology class (DIT) have been busy learning important skills and earning industry certifications. The program is part of the School District's Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.

Students who earn IT certifications also earn cash awards for their accomplishments. For instance, several students earned their Entrepreneurship for Small Business and WordPress certifications and took home $300 each from Monroe Computes and an additional $150  for the WordPress certification. Some students in the class have also passed their Adobe Photoshop certification and are working toward certifying in the full Adobe Bundle. One student, Akbogta Dozanskyzy, has successfully completed her Adobe Bundle certification and earned $500 for her hard work.

DIT at KWHS is taught by Teacher Ebenson Michelin.
