Big news from the Horace O’Bryant School band! We're thrilled to announce that our talented students have received the highest rating possible - a Superior rating - at the recent Music Performance Assessment. This is an incredible achievement that recognizes the outstanding musicianship and hard work of our band members.

For those who may not know, the Music Performance Assessment (MPA) is an annual event that evaluates the musical performance of student ensembles from schools across the state. These assessments are conducted by trained adjudicators who provide constructive feedback and ratings based on several criteria, including musicality, technique, intonation, and interpretation. Receiving a Superior rating at the MPA is a tremendous accomplishment and indicates that the band has demonstrated exceptional musical abilities and a high level of proficiency.
